In the 1980s and ’90s, I had the opportunity to work with famed guitarist Allan Holdsworth, recording several of his iconic albums, including Road Games and Metal Fatigue. I recently wrote an article for Guitar Player Magazine, sharing stories from those sessions. The article takes the reader behind the scenes of those early sessions, offering a glimpse into Allan’s creative process, sharing technical insights, and revealing Allan’s unwavering artistic integrity and distinctive personality. It was a unique experience, and I’m happy to share these memories with others who appreciate his extraordinary talent. Link to the Allan Holdsworth Story.
